The device is used to execute tests for electrical cables and insulated wires in case of fire. The integrity of the circuit is tested in the event of a single fire with a flame temperature of at least 750ºC.
Electrical cables and insulated wires are subjected to a flame with a temperature of at least 750ºC. During this time, current is applied to the cables and wires. It is determined how long it takes for a conductor to be interrupted.
