This universal reversed-bending test stand with servoaxis can be used to carry out various tests on chairs. Tests can be executed according to BIFMA X5.1, EN1335, EN581-2,british standard etc.

Optional accessories extend the capabilities of this test stand to include the toppling test. A convenient operator interface which runs under Windows® enables free test parameterisation. Predefined sequences are available for static/dynamic seat and backrest testing. Any other sequences can be freely implemented graphically. The individual testing assignments can be interrupted at any time and resumed
from the same point. Thus, intermediate tests can be carried out on a different test object. Any time and force can be assigned to each test enabling implementation of any testing sequence. A force/path diagram is available for both movements. The data are stored in a post-mortem memory so that the course of the force can be subsequently analysed in the event of fracture. The test data can be transferred via Ethernet to an external computer for processing and incorporation in test reports. Furthermore, an off-line version is available for data revision.
